We have a spacious property on Walney Island; it's lovely & quiet in a good area. It has a large off-street car park with CCTV, free fibre' broadband WIFI throughout, a large comfy lounge with 50-inch TV (Sky), well equipped shared kitchen & serviced laundry etc. There are 40 rooms altogether, some en-suite. It has been refurbished to a high standard with a well equipped kitchen; breadmaker, toasters, crockery, pans etc, large lounge with leather sofas, a smaller quiet lounge, garden (& smoking shelter), & secure room for bike/stuff storage. The property is cleaned twice daily; we pride ourselves on the cleanliness of the showers and toilets. My wife & I run the place and are friendly if you want to chat, but if you don't; we will leave you be. Just about all our residents are BAE contractors, wind-farmers, or work at the Gas Terminal. Your room is just that - so you can leave your stuff over the weekend if you want to go home. We provide tea & coffee (fresh and instant), milk, condiments, olive & cooking oil etc - we even have tupperware if you want to make your own pack lunch! The Crown pub is within walking distance and serves good food - there are a couple of convenience stores nearby, & most of the takeaways in Barrow deliver to us, (not so good for the waist line though!)
The rooms are fully furnished with a 4ft small double-bed, linen & towels. There are no swirly carpets nor tasteless plastic flowers!
